Tulane is a school like no other, and our unique, vibrant, talented community of undergraduates are essential to our character and our culture. In order to encourage the best and brightest to stand as Tulanians, we must offer undergraduates an experience replete with opportunities — in and out of the classroom, on campus and in our New Orleans community.
At Tulane, we welcome remarkable students to study with some of the world’s finest minds in one of the world’s most beloved cities. And students have responded in droves in recent years, with admission growing ever more competitive among students who long to call themselves Tulanians. We are proud of our ability to offer undergraduates world-class learning experiences, the chance to engage with top-tier faculty and the ability to partake in impactful research. But we know we have the opportunity to elevate the student experience still further, offering rising Tulanians an experience that isn’t simply exemplary, it’s life changing.
Over the course of the Only the Audacious campaign, major projects such as Mussafer Hall, the Malkin Sacks Commons and the Freeman School expansion meaningfully enhanced important aspects of our students’ time at Tulane. With Always the Audacious, we will continue transforming our students’ living and learning experiences on the uptown campus as we create a game-changing Residential Village, provide the School of Science and Engineering with a state-of-the-art new home in Steven and Jann Paul Hall and renovate and expand Richardson Memorial Hall. To match the ambition of our physical transformation, we will further expand financial aid for our students, bringing the best and brightest to enjoy all that Tulane has to offer.

We know our students are distinctive, and so we have set out to offer them an experience that is as unique as they are. Essential to that is transforming our campus to a thriving hub where living and learning meld seamlessly, and students can discover their true — and best — selves.
We know that residential life is a fundamental aspect of the student experience. On the uptown campus we are reconsidering everything a “dorm” can be, creating thriving living-learning communities that integrate academics and residential life and enrich the student experience in countless ways.

As we enter the bold new era of Always the Audacious, we are poised to transform the student experience. One essential aspect of that transformation is in supporting scholarships that expand opportunities for all.
Tulane has always offered a distinctive education, located in the most unique city on the globe, attracting students who want to change the world. However, some of the world’s most deserving students will never consider Tulane because they simply can’t afford it.
